Lisa Sjostrom, Ed.M., founder and director of Helping Kids Thrive, is an accomplished writer, teacher, trainer, and program developer whose widely-acclaimed curricula—on numerous topics supporting children’s social and emotional development—are making a positive difference in schools and communities nationwide.
Lisa earned a B.A. at Yale University and an Ed.M. at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She has worked with and on behalf of kids for two decades in K-12 classrooms and at leading institutions including Wellesley College and Harvard University. Lisa is currently a Research Associate at the Harvard Medical School, a Project Director at McLean Hospital, and is co-writing a book about the power of collaborative art to change kids, classrooms and communities for the better.
